FENTANYL. SILENT KILLER ON THE WEST COAST.
CROWDFUNDING FOR BOOK PROJECT
Currently, I am working on a research and book project on fentanyl. Last year, 112.000 people in the US died of a fentanyl overdose. It is currently the most devastating drug in US history. I already visited Tijuana, San Francisco and Los Angeles to report on the crisis. Over the next twelve months, I will visit Vancouver, San Diego, Portland and Culiacán as well.

This September, I just started a crowd funding campaign on Kickstarter to raise funds for my research. The bare minimum, just to cover my travel, is 9.950 USD.

It is based on fieldwork in Mexico, USA, Kabul, Prague, the Golden Triangle and Holland and Belgium, where many meth labs have been discovered. The book ends with sharp rebuttal of the so called tolerant Dutch drug policy, which actually has transformed the country in a narco state lite. Read more Read moreDRUG WAR MEXICO. NARCOVIOLENCIA

IF YOU LIKE TO SUPPORT MY WORK
As an independent PhD candidate, I financed my research myself and never received grants, stipendia, subsidies or government support. Same for the translation of my book and my war photography projects. It can be difficult, but I love to be independent.
But somehow my financial resources tend to be rather stretched. You can support my work by purchasing my limited edition prints. Special prints for Special People for Special Prices ... Write me for details ...
