Art is wherever you lookAs a regular contributor for design magazine such as DAMn and I.D, Voeten has a keen eye for art, design and pop culture, even in war zones. In Iraq, he recognized the esthetic value of the destroyed Saddam Hussein portraits. In the DR Congo, he was fascinated by the simple yet effective design of the chukudu, a wooden scooter made for transporting heavy loads in a hostile environment.
One of his first series, shot in 1989 is a documentary of Manhattan based street artist Konstantin Bokov.
